SkyeDance Youth Company YDance Destinations Performance

We are delighted to announce that our Youth Company is one of thirteen groups across Scotland that has been selected to perform at this year’s YDance Destinations. Our group has been working extremely hard to create and perfect their piece which they will be performing at The Macrobert’s Arts Centre in Stirling in March 2019. SkyeDance has been busy fundraising for this trip, and cannot wait to perform at this great event!


‘Fame’ the Musical group outing

SkyeDance is offering a group of students the opportunity to attend the hit musical ‘Fame’ which is being performed at Eden Court in Inverness. We cannot wait to take our group and help to inspire them and give them the chance to watch professional singers, and dancers perform the worldly renowned hits from the spectacular West End musical.


SkyeDance Annual General Meeting

SkyeDance’s AGM will be taking place on Wednesday 13th February 2019 at 7:30pm at Portree High School. We are actively seeking new members and volunteers to help us with fundraising. Everyone is welcome to come along to this meeting, and we encourage anyone to attend who is interested in finding out about how SkyeDance is run. SkyeDance and Highlife Highland invite Primary and Secondary school pupils to show us their best moves!
We are looking for soloists, small and large groups to choreograph their own routine and showcase their work alongside other dancers from across Skye & Lochalsh.
All routines should be choreographed by the dancers with NO adult or teacher help! All dance styles welcome!

The competition will be split into the following categories:
Secondary Large Groups – 5 or more people
Secondary Small Groups or Solos – 1-4 people
Primary Large Groups – 5 or more people
Primary Small Groups or Solos – 1-4 people
